Free vaccinations and microchips courtesy ot Joybound People & Pets. Get in line early. These events are first come, first served.
There will be a limited supply of food, dog beds and resource materials available from the Community Solutions table.
Please plan to wait – bring a chair, bring a friend and bring water.
All pets should be adequately contained / restrained. They do not have to be present for check in (they can wait in car). Please advise at check in if you need a carrier or leash.

It all starts at the Antioch Veterans Memorial at the foot of L Street (the future Veterans Blvd.) near the Marina in the Boat Launch parking lot at 8:00 am with a Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Antioch Rivertown Veterans Lions Club.
Our Veteran’s Day Ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. The Parade follows at 11:00 a.m., eastbound on W. 2nd Street and will feature a flyover of a Coast Guard helicopter and the ringing of the bell at El Campanil Theatre at 11:11 a.m.

Join the City of Antioch Recreation Department for the third annual Día de Los Muertos Celebration happening Saturday, November 2nd at the Nick Rodriguez Community Center. Take part in displaying your own personal altar while enjoying live dance and musical performances, youth crafts, food options from local markets & businesses, face painting, a Catrina contest, and much more!
Día de Los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is an annual Central American holiday from November 1st through November 2nd that welcomes the celebration of the lives of deceased relatives. Traditionally, families come together to create offerings as a way to honor loved ones who have passed on and encourage them to visit from the land of the beyond to join in on the celebration.
Altars built by individual community members, local businesses and community organizations will be on display at the Nick Rodriguez Community Center will remain on open display Oct. 31st through November 2nd for public viewing.

It is officially that time again! The free annual Kids Fishing Derby is taking place on October 12th, brought to you by the West Delta Chapter of the California Striped Bass Association. Located in Waldie Plaza and the U.E. “Compy” Compomizzo Municipal Fishing Pier from 9am-12pm, this event is open to youth ages 4-15 with an attending parent or guardian.
Don’t have any poles? No problem! Fishing poles will be available for use along with a live tutorial on how to bait your hook and cast your line.
