Antioch apartment complex fired on, Thursday night, one man shot

At approximately 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2012, several residents at an apartment complex in the 700 block of H Street, were on a balcony that overlooks H Street when gunfire erupted from the street below. The residents fled inside in an attempt to take cover.

While trying to get back in the building, one of the residents was struck twice by small arms fire. The victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital where he is being treated for what appear to be non-life threatening injuries. Police recovered approximately 20 spent bullet shell casings in the street in front of the apartment.
