• ·On 5/5/16 at 3pm, 44 year old Louie Gamboa was loitering in front of 7 Eleven on Buchanan Road when a 59 year old female arrived in her vehicle and parked in front of the store. For no apparent reason, Gamboa produced a knife and charged towards the woman as she exited her vehicle. Gamboa threatened her with the knife and threatened to kill her. Gamboa proceeded to chase the victim around her vehicle while swinging the knife in a stabbing type motion at her. The victim was able to lock herself back inside her vehicle. Gamboa then began stabbing at her closed window (no damage). Gamboa was located by responding officers and later identified by the victim as the responsible. Gamboa was found in possession of a silver steak knife, which the victim also identified as the weapon used. Gamboa was arrested and sent to county jail.
• ·On 5/5/16 at 7:54 pm, officers responded to the area of Sunny Lane and Mahogany Way for the report of shots fired with a possible subject down. On arrival, shell casings were located on the sidewalk near the corner of Mahogany Way and Banyan Way. No subjects were struck and the subject that was on the ground was with a group of soccer players in the park and had gone to the ground when he heard the shots. He was not the target of the shooter. The only info obtained was a silver Mercedes stopped near Sunny Lane and an occupant fired multiple .45 cal rounds at another subject near the corner of Banyan Way and Mahogany Way. All parties fled and descriptions were limited. An SUV parked in a driveway was struck 3 times. No other leads could be developed in regards to the suspect or intended victim.
• ·On 5/6/16 at 2:56 am 52 year old Ronald Rector was contacted at City Park and found to be a parolee at large. He was arrested and then booked into county jail.
• ·On 5/6/16 at 5:23 am 31 year old Jennifer Carter was contacted during a vehicle stop on East Lake Drive and found to have a warrant for identity theft. She was arrested and booked into county jail.
• ·On 5/6/16 at 3:31 pm officers were dispatched to the Quik Stop on West Tregallas Road for the report of a male who matched the description of a responsible for an assault that occurred in San Francisco which was reported on the news. Upon arrival, officers contacted 33 year old Gary Kennedy who matched the description provided. Kennedy was found to be in possession of a concealed dirk or dagger. Kennedy is also on felony probation for auto theft. Kennedy was arrested without incident and transported to county jail.
• ·On 5/6/16 at 8:59 pm officers were on routine patrol in the area of 85 S. Lake when they saw several subjects in front of the residence. Officers contacted 38 year old Francisco Crow, who was found to have an outstanding warrant for narcotics. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to county jail.
• ·On 5/6/16 at 11:40 pm 54 year old Mary Moore and 50 year old Scott Moore were spotted driving in the area of A Street and Bryan Avenue. A vehicle stop was conducted knowing they both had Ramey warrants for their arrest. Both were taken into custody without incident and booked into county.
• ·On 5/7/16 at 2:25 am a 47 year old male went to his car parked in the lot near Raley’s after leaving Legends on Lone Tree Way. He saw that two of his car’s tires had been slashed and were flat. He looked around and saw 5 other vehicles also had their tires slashed. He did not know who would do this. Attempts to contact the other R/O’s met with negative results. Notes were left for each of them with the case number. This area of the lot has no surveillance coverage.
• ·On 5/7/16 at 1:26 am officers contacted 28 year old Jerry Combs and 52 year old Eric Tatro during a traffic stop. Combs was found to be on probation and in possession of a small amountof methamphetamine. He was arrested without incident. Tatro initially lied about his name and when his real name was obtained through a fingerprint reader, he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. They were booked into county jail.
• ·On 5/7/16 at 7:15 am a 54 year old male checked himself into the Sutter ER with a gunshot wound to the lower leg. The male was uncooperative with the investigation. He said went to the Spanos Alleyway to buy drugs from a known drug dealer and was jumped and shot. He fled on-foot abandoning his vehicle there. The male refused to identify the drug dealer who jumped him, and when asked if he shot himself he refused to answer. His injury was not life threatening.
• ·On 5/7/16 at 9:35 am it was reported that during the night 3 vehicles parked in the back lot of 1111 James Donlon were struck by gunfire. There is no suspect information and no physical injuries were reported.
• ·On 5/7/16 at 1 pm 45 year old David Bledsoe was driving recklessly in the area of East 6^th and A Streets. He was spinning donuts, hit a car and fled. Bledsoe was contacted in the area and identified as the responsible. He was arrested for the hit-and-run and the California Department of Corrections declined to violate his parole. He was booked at APD and released on a citation.
• ·On 5/7/16 at 5:43 pm officers responded to West Tregallas Road for the report of an occupied suspicious vehicle. Officers arrived and contacted 37 year old Noorulah Tarin. Tarin is on probation with a search clause. A search of Tarin’s vehicle revealed seven fraudulent $100 bills in the dashboard vent. Tarin was arrested without incident and taken to county jail.
• ·On 5/8/16 at 12:30 am officers responded to the report of shots fired on West 3^rd Street. Upon arrival, it was discovered there had been a large party at this address. All parties were uncooperative and several left prior to sufficient officers arriving to secure the scene. Several spent casings were found outside the apartment. A 25 year old and a 31 year old were contacted and found to have graze wounds. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment and later released. A short time later, a man arrived at the hospital with his 31 year old wife. The 31 year old had been shot in the left upper arm and chest. She was later admitted with non-life threatening injuries. Based on limited information obtained, unknown parties had left the party after some type of dispute and then returned a short time later and fired several rounds randomly at the apartment. A sweep of the apartment located no other victims or physical evidence. Area hospitals were notified due to the number of rounds fired and possible victims who fled prior to APD arrival. None of the involved parties would provide any further information.
• ·On 5/8/16 at 8:31 am an officer conducted a traffic stop on a white Honda Prelude driven by 24 year old Michael Hamner on Sycamore Drive. The officer knew Hamner from previous contacts and knew he had a history of stealing cars. Hamner was found to have a warrant for his arrest. Officers had Concord PD contact the registered owner of the vehicle and the car was confirmed to be stolen. Hamner was arrested without incident on his warrant and auto theft charges. He was booked in county jail.
• ·On 5/8/16 at 8:59 am officers were dispatched to 615 W. 19^th Street regarding a dispute and contacted 41 year old Victor Mendoza. He was found to have a warrant for his arrest and booked in county jail.
• ·On 5/8/16 at 2:39 pm officers were dispatched to Sequoia Drive for the report of an argument between relatives. 54 year old Donald Anderson and a 45 year old male were drinking beer together in the 45 year old man’s garage. An argument started that led to Anderson being asked to leave. Anderson walked to his car while continuing to argue with the victim. The victim also walked out to the street and stood at Anderson’s driver’s side window while they argued. As the victim walked in front of the vehicle back towards his garage, Anderson accelerated towards him and intentionally hit him with his vehicle. The victim fell to the ground and Anderson ran over his legs with the front tires of the vehicle. Anderson stopped and backed up, again running over the victim’s legs, and then fled the scene. The victim did not realize how badly he was injured until he woke up today, so he decided to call the police. He had abrasions on both knees, hips, and hands. He complained of pain to both legs and walked with a significant limp, but refused medical. Anderson is a transient and frequently sleeps in his vehicle on N Apple Ct. Anderson was located there today and arrested without incident.
• ·On 5/9/16 at 3:40 am 26 year old Michael Roe backed his vehicle into his neighbor’s retaining wall on Curtis Drive near Arthur Way. Roe was found to be driving while intoxicated. Roe was arrested without incident and later cite released.
• ·On 5/9/16 at 2:11 pm 54 year old Joseph Jackson arrived at APD for his sex offender transient registration. Jackson was out of compliance with the 30 day window. He was arrested and released with a citation after being registered.
• ·On 5/9/16 at 10:33 pm 50 year old Santos Cervantes was contacted at West 18^th and A Streets, and found to have a warrant for drug charges. Cervantes was issued a new court date.
• ·On 5/6/16 at 11:07 pm 48 year old Jesus Sandoval entered his neighbor’s backyard on West 7th Street and moved a window mounted air conditioning unit so that he could covertly view a 27 year old female in her bedroom. The female’s boyfriend, heard a noise outside and he confronted Sandoval in the backyard. The boyfriend physically assaulted Sandoval. Sandoval was arrested and admitted to “peeping” on three occasions today. Sandoval was transported to county hospital for medical treatment for his swollen face that he sustained from the assault and then transferred to MDF.
• ·On 5/10/16 at 5:47 pm employees of Georgia Pacific called to report that a male (50 year old Donald Marzette) covered in blood swam up to the shore behind the company off Minaker Drive. Marzette said he was being chased by the FBI and acting strange. Officers arrived and located Marzette as he was walking into the Antioch Dunes wildlife area. Marzette fell down a large embankment and continued walking deep into the dunes before officers could catch up to him. Marzette had various cuts on his hands and arms from climbing various fences around Georgia Pacific and complained of pain from his fall. He had 3 cite-releasable warrants for his arrest. He was issued new court dates and transported to a hospital for his injuries.
• ·On 5/10/16 at 6:38 pm investigators were working a proactive detail in the city when they learned that 33 year old Sean Rosevear was staying in a room at the Days Inn on Auto Center Drive. Rosevear was wanted on $720,000 worth of warrants for vehicle pursuits and stolen vehicles. As detectives entered the room, Rosevear jumped out of the 3^rd story window in an attempt to avoid arrest. He sustained major injuries, but was still able to flee on foot. The investigators caught up to him a few hundred yards away where he fought with them but was taken into custody. Rosevear was taken to an area hospital where he was admitted for injuries sustained from jumping from the window.
• ·On 5/10/16 at 10:37 pm 39 year old Felipe Pollard was intoxicated and causing a disturbance on Spur Way. Pollard was arrested and sent to county jail.
• ·On 5/11/16 at 1:47 am a traffic enforcement stop was conducted on a vehicle on Gentrytown Drive. An occupant of the car, 35 year old Lisa St. Onge, had a parolee at large warrant for her arrest. St. Onge was arrested without incident and sent to county jail.
• ·On 5/11/16 at 3:06 pm a 24 year old male was dropped off at Sutter Delta Hospital with a superficial gunshot wound to his head. The male is a known Norteno gang member and was uncooperative with the investigation. The only information he would give is that he was shot near E. 18th and A Street. No evidence was located and no suspect information was developed.
• ·On 5/11/16 at 4:37 pm FRI (fugitive recovery) Bounty Hunters called APD to report they had 41 year old Ryan Peters detained on outstanding warrants from Sacramento. The Bounty Hunters requested APD due to the fact Peters was in a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, Officers located approximately 10 plus California drivers’ licenses with Peters picture on them all, however, each CDL had a different name. Peters altered the CDLs to give him various identities. The officers also located stolen SSN cards and other credit cards to various victims. The victims ranged from Discovery Bay, Martinez, Walnut Creek, San Jose, Sonoma, and Antioch. Officers were able to track down 4 of the 11 victims as of this writing and confirmed the items were in fact stolen. The stolen rental car Peters was stopped and detained in was rented under one of the victim’s identities. Peters was later transported to county jail.
• ·On 5/11/16 at 8:18 pm an officer attempted to catch up to a motorcycle on W. 10^th Street, however the motorcycle fled from him at a high rate of speed. The officer did not pursue after him. During an area check of 2545 W. 10^th Street, the officer located the motorcycle being driven by 28 year old Manual Hook. Hook dropped the motorcycle and fled to the open field on the north side of W. 10^th Street. A check on the motorcycle showed it to be stolen out of Walnut Creek. Another officer and his K-9 began to do a track, ultimately locating him near a ravine where K-9 Donna took Hook into custody. Hook was treated at a local hospital for his injuries and later sent to county jail.
• ·On 5/11/16 during the afternoon and early evening several reports came in of a gold vehicle occupied by 4 to 5 males stopping residents walking alone and demanding their property in the Deer Valley corridor. The investigation is continuing.

On Sunday, May 15, 2016, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Antioch Police Officers responded to the intersection of L St. and Highway 4 on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old male victim from Antioch who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is receiving treatment for his injuries.

On Sunday, May 15, 2016 at approximately 1:42 PM, Antioch Police Officers were dispatched to the report of gun shots heard in the 1700 block of Magnolia Way in Antioch. Upon arrival, Officers learned a male victim was shot and had been transported to an area hospital by family members. The victim was located at an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Officers at the scene of the shooting were able to develop information on the shooter and located him in a nearby apartment on Spanos Street. The suspect, David Hall was arrested without incident and a firearm suspected to be used in the shooting was recovered. Hall was booked in Martinez Detention Facility on a charge of attempted homicide along with related weapons charges.

According to a report by Police Chief Allan Cantando, which he will present to the City Council at their meeting tonight, total Part I crimes decreased by 114 from 1,180 during the first quarter of 2016 compared to 1,066 in the first quarter of 2015.

Violent crimes increased by one from 172 to 173 in Antioch when comparing the same two time periods. While homicides doubled from one to two, the largest increase in violent crimes was robbery which increased 43.9% from 57 to 82. However, the number of rapes dropped from 16 to 11 and aggravated assaults dropped from 98 to 78 during the same time periods.

Other Part I crimes dropped by 115 in the comparison. Those include a drop in burglaries by 81 from 273 to 192; an increase in theft of one from 453 to 454 and a drop in auto theft by 35, from 282 to 247 over the same time periods.

Total arrests increased by 13, which includes a decrease in adult arrests by nine, from 1,056 to 1,047, and an increase in juvenile arrests by 22 from 142 to 164 during the same time periods.

Andre Villedrouin

Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office Detectives with the assistance of Antioch Police arrested a suspect wanted in connection with the homicide of Kimberly Hoglund, in East Richmond Heights in April.

43-year-old Andre Villedrouin of Richmond, who had a warrant for his arrest, was taken into custody Wednesday morning, May 4, 2016 on Hawthorne Avenue in Antioch.

He is currently being held in lieu of $1 million bail. Villedrouin was arraigned on Friday.

From the California Highway Patrol-Contra Costa

Monday evening, at about 5:46 pm, we received a call of a traffic collision involving two vehicles on SR-4 eastbound, just west of Somersville Road. Upon emergency personnel arrival, the driver of a white BMW sedan collided into the back of a grey Acura sedan within the #2 lane.

Due to the force of the impact, the Acura was pushed all the way to the right shoulder where it came it rest. The female driver of the Acura was unconscious and unresponsive. Life-saving procedures were immediately rendered and she was quickly transported to Sutter Delta hospital in Antioch. Unfortunately she succumb to her injuries from the collision and was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the hospital at 6:48 pm. She was a 49-year-old female from Oakley.

The female driver of the white BMW sedan was transported to Kaiser hospital for moderate non-life-threatening injuries. A signal alert was issued but now all traffic lanes are open as of 7:40 pm.

This is an ongoing investigation. Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in this collision and no arrests have been made. If anyone observed this incident or has any information regarding the events leading up to it, we ask that they please contact us at 925-646-4980.

Rebecca Boyer

Antioch 16-year-old Rebecca Boyer has been missing from home since March 29th. According to her parents, she may be with her boyfriend who is over age 18. She has experienced two head traumas in the past three years, from a pool diving accident and an amusement park ride, which also caused a heart murmur.
