San Francisco man injured in motorcycle collision in Antioch, Saturday afternoon

On November 5, 2016, at approximately 2:08 PM, Antioch Police Department dispatch received several calls regarding a solo motorcycle collision on Hillcrest Avenue at Terrace View Avenue. APD Officers arrived on scene and it was determined that a 49-year-old San Francisco male was riding his motorcycle northbound on Hillcrest Avenue at a high rate of speed.

The male lost control of his motorcycle and struck a tree in the center median of Hillcrest Avenue. The male was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition. Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a contributing factor in this collision.

This preliminary information is made available by the Field Services Bureau. There will be no further information released regarding this case at this time.
