Three shot, one Pittsburg teen killed, Saturday night in Antioch, police seek shooters

On Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 8:50 PM the Antioch Police Department was dispatched to the 1400 block of Sycamore Drive on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers found an 18-year-old Pittsburg man unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Life saving measures were implemented and the victim was transported to an area hospital where he subsequently died a short time later.

Also at the scene were two additional victims. They are an 18-year-old Antioch male and a 24-year-old male out of Pittsburg. Both of these victims had non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Both were transported to an area hospital where they were treated and have been released.

The three victims all knew each other and were outside of an apartment smoking when they were approached by subjects unknown to them. As the unknown subjects approached the victims they began shooting at them, striking all three victims. The suspects fled the area after the shooting and are at large.

It is the sixth homicide in Antioch, this year.

This information is preliminary as Antioch PD Investigators are in the early stages of the investigation. No other information will be released at this time.
