Antioch business, community leaders help Zendy’s Boutique owner cut the ribbon on new store

On Thursday, October 23, representatives of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce and the City, as well as fellow downtown business owners, joined together to help Zendy Garcia cut the ribbon on her new store, Zendy’s Boutique, in Antioch’s historic downtown Rivertown.

Those in attendance were treated to a nice reception with tasty refreshments and wine from Oakridge Vineyards in Lodi.

Antioch Mayor Pro Tem Lori Ogorchock added her thanks for the opening of the new business.

I love this shop already,” she said. “It’s cute stuff. Adorable.”

We are happy to have you part of the Antioch Chamber and downtown revitalization,” Ogorchock added.

Zendy then shared her gratitude

I’m so happy to be here and thank the people who have helped me,” she said.
