State President to Speak at NAACP East County Branch Banquet
The East Contra Costa Branch of the National Association for the Advancement for Colored People, will hold its 54th Annual Banquet on Saturday, April 23, 2011.
The keynote speaker will be California State NAACP President Ms. Alice Huffman. The event, which will begin at 6 p.m., is the key fundraising activity for the branch. The event provides the funds necessary to support the branch’s programs and activities. This year’s theme is Celebrating The American Family.
Banquet tickets to the event are $65 which includes a one year membership to the NAACP or $50 without an annual membership. The event will take place at Crowne Plaza Hotel, 45 John Glenn Drive, Concord, California.
