Several arrests have been made in relation to the stabbing/beating death of Daniel Ingram. All of those arrested are all Antioch residents: Vincent Basulto (11/13/94), Joshua Thayn (6/17/78), Rose Basulto (7/8/81) and Lynn Jaeger (7/10/59) – photos below.

The Antioch Police Department will be seeking charges with the DA’s office. Currently Vincent Basulto is being held for murder. Thayn, R. Basulto, and Jaeger are all being held on accessory charges. This homicide appears to have happened because of an argument over alleged stolen tools.

On Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 3:01 a.m. the Antioch Police Department responded to a stabbing at a residence in the 5000 block of Rodeo Circle. There, they found a 54 year man, deceased, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Man shot in head in Antioch on Saturday, dies later at hospital

Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013

By Lieutenant Diane Aguinaga, Antioch Police Investigations Bureau

On Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 9:34 a.m., the Antioch Police Department received several calls of shots being fired in the 2100 block of Spanos Street near Sycamore Drive. As officers were arriving, they were advised that a man had been shot in the head. They located the victim, a 42 year old Antioch resident, on the porch of his apartment, with a gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injury.

Coincidentally, this same victim was also shot the previous day, at the same location, at 11:03 am. On Friday, June 28, 2013 the victim received a grazing wound to his back and a gunshot wound to his leg. He was uncooperative with officers at that time and gave no information as to who had shot him.

Detectives were called out and are investigating both shootings.
