Antioch man stabs woman, arrested for attempted homicide, this morning

At 7:56 a.m, this morning Antioch Police responded to a stabbing at Save Mart at 3190 Contra Loma Blvd. Upon police arrival, the 50-year-old female victim, an Antioch resident, was found suffering from apparent stab wounds.
The responsible, 35-year-old Jeffrey Crimson of Antioch, was captured a short distance away by several good Samaritans and turned over to police. The victim was taken to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the Antioch Department at 778-2441.
Once apprehended, this man will back on the streets of Antioch in 25 days.

It’s in the Constitution. . . He has a right to bail, try 24 hours not days and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Sucks for a dirtbag like him.

I heard the woman was attacked because she is Muslim. Do anyone have any additional details about her situation?
I was told today, by an eyewitness who says he assisted her, after the man who stabbed her ran off, that she was wearing clothing that made her appear to be Middle-Eastern. So she may be Muslim. If anyone finds out more, please email us at editor@antiochherald.com.

Yes she was Muslim. Yes this was a hate crime. Yes the guy will be set free. Antioch needs reform.
