Contra Loma Estates Home Owners Association receives 2016 Best of Antioch Award

Antioch Award Program Honors the Achievement

Contra Loma Estates Home Owners Association has been selected for the 2016 Best of Antioch Award in the Condominiums category by the Antioch Award Program. The Contra Loma Estates are located at 1203 Sycamore Drive in Antioch.

Each year, the Antioch Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Antioch area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2016 Antioch Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Antioch Award Program and data provided by third parties.

You have got to be kidding. That is the best we have? Yes indeed. Who are these people and who have they awarded anything to in the past 5 years?

I read the stuff on the website and it doesn’t say anything.

    Nancy,

I can’t defend the company that does these awards, but I can defend Contra Loma Estates HOA. I am the on-site Community Manager, and have been in this position for over 8 years. As you probably know, we are located in the middle of a very challenging area of Antioch… low income and high crime. In my time here, management and the Board of Directors has spent significant amounts of time, energy and dollars focused on improvements to the quality of living for the owners and residents – and more projects are in the works. Ongoing maintenance, security and property improvements we’ve completed are too numerous to list here. We’ve done our very best to keep the curb appeal and property values up, given the depressed area and economy over recent years. While there are certainly nicer communities than ours, I am very confident in saying that while it is not a perfect place to live, without all of our efforts, this would be a far worse place to live.

I have heard of the Antioch Award Program, it’s legit… keep your eyes peeled you’ll see signs around town in the windows of various businesses who have won in years past.

    • Publisher says:

      Neither have I, Arne.
But, check the link in the article.

I read everything on their web pages and it said absolutely noting. Nothing identifying or naming others who have won the award.

I agree Contra Loma Estates has come a long way and endured lots of hard knocks. I commend you for that. I actually owned one of the units on L Street and lived there 6 months while a house was being built. Bad idea in 1973-74.

I just want to know who the heck these people are and they do not identify themselves at all in their material.
