Antioch Police identify victim in Saturday night’s homicide, city’s sixth of the year

On Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 8:50 PM, the Antioch Police Department was dispatched to the 1400 block of Sycamore Drive on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers found an 18-year-old Pittsburg man unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Life saving measures were implemented and the victim was transported to an area hospital where he subsequently died a short time later.

The victim of this homicide has been identified as Marcos Villazon. Antioch PD Investigators are actively investigating this homicide and no further information will be released at this time. This is Antioch’s 6th homicide for 2015.
